Back in the 18th century this used to b a garden [bagh] which had all the roses in the world [i.e Behist]. The colors include black, green, velvet etc.. It was also home to many a birds brought from all over the world. from kingdoms as far as persian, south america, parts of africa etc..... A resting place of the muslim queen Chandbibi. Ahmednagar. |
